WildCat Propellers is the Only Commercial Propeller Repair Facility in the United States using advanced Prop Scan® computer technology. Prop Scan®, which has revolutionized the recreational propeller industry, is now available for commercial application. Utilizing ISO 484/2 and 484/1 Standards WildCat is able to significantly improve propeller efficiency. Increasing propeller efficiency results in: 1. Increased Thrust Yielding: a. Improved Maneuvering b. Reduced Cavitation in Reverse (Increased Stopping Power) 2. Decreased Fuel Consumption 3. Increased Speed at Operating RPM 4. Matched Loading of Engines 5. Decreased Noise 6. Elimination of Propeller Induced Vibration WildCat offers, at No Charge, complete propeller measurement and analysis service which includes calculating the correct propeller for a given application. We will inspect the propeller for visual defects. The propeller will then be scanned on the most advanced computer system available today. The hydrodynamic shape over the pressure face will be assessed. This information allows you to understand the propeller problems and allows us to determine areas where the propellers can be improved. Propellers account for 80-90% of vessel vibration. Vibration is a sign of inefficiency. Our analysis can determine which propeller is contributing to the perceived vibration problem. We are also able to diagnose asymmetrical thrust conditions which can contribute to vibratory problems and/or misloading of the engines. WildCat Propellers is capable of repairing propellers up to 132" (11ft) in diameter and up to 7-blades. Our highly efficient computer equipment allows us to pre-measure and analyze propellers at NO CHARGE. This allows you to make intelligent decisions based on the actual condition of the propellers. WildCat belongs to an International Network of Recognized Propeller Experts. Particularly difficult problems are referred to this network. All our work is fully documented and we guarantee the accuracy of the propellers. All work is saved in the computers. This allows us to duplicate a propeller or a job at a later date even if that propeller is destroyed. We can provide you propeller data on disk and will, on request, include a Free Copy of Prop Scan Analysis a Windows 95/98 program which verifies our printed documentation and maintains a detailed record of all repaired propellers for you.
