The Online Tanker Industry Index (OTII) was Maritime Global Network's proprietary daily tanker freight rate index — one of the most trusted benchmarks in the tanker shipping industry.
Published daily, the OTII provided Worldscale rates across 14 key tanker routes spanning three geographic groups. Rates were collected from a curated panel of leading tanker brokers and verified through a rigorous quorum-based methodology to ensure accuracy and market representativeness.
