Offshore System Ltd. (OSL) is a public company located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Founded in 1977, OSL is the world leader in Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS) technology, and has one of the largest ECDIS type installed bases. The primary product of Offshore Systems Ltd. is ECPINS (Electronic Chart Precise Integrated Navigation System) which provides mariners with precise positioning information for the promotion of safety in navigation. OSL's ECPINS® is installed on Canadian Coast Guard, the US Coast Guard vessels, and numerous worldwide commercial carriers. ECPINS is the primary navigation system for the Canadian Navy.
