Our product, PILE-GARD, is the original Pile protection system, protecting timber piles against marine borer damage and steel piles from corrosion, by eliminating the required oxygen.

PILE-GARD is a flexible PVC wrap that is used to encapsulate timber and steel piles, sealing top bottom and vertically to prevent dissolved oxygen from reaching the surface of the pile. The thin sheet of water trapped behind the wrap becomes stagnant within a few hours thereby, eliminating the oxygen needed to sustain marine borers and to promote corrosion. This system has been used since the 1950's when the original system was tested for effectiveness and durability.
