Sur-Loc, Inc. designed, manufactures and distributes the Climber's Buddy Fall Prevention System. The Climber's Buddy utilizes a positive-locking, cam-action trolley on a rigid safety rail (either built into the ladder or as a retro-fit add-on rail) to protect climbers from dangerous falls from heights. Further Sur-Loc designed, manufactures and distributes the Sur-Loc shackle. The Sur-Loc shackle is a one-piece shackle -- the slide is permanently locked into the bail of the shackle. Also, the pin locking mechanism is an integral part of the shackle -- no tools are required to open or close the shackle, making the Sur-Loc the most efficient and easiest to use shackle available.
