PetroGuard - a dry, white granular powder consisting of unique organic polymeric materials. PetroGuard is used to absorb and immobilize liquid hydrocarbon (petroleum products and crude) and highly reactive chemical spills including organo-silicones and titanium tetrachloride to a recoverable solid, with minimal overall volumetric increase. Once absorbed, liquids will not be released, even under pressure. PetroGuard has a strong affinity for hydrocarbon-based liquids, particularly the primary aromatic compounds.
