About

The Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission functions as Hancock County, Mississippi's Economic Development Authority, Port Authority, and Airport Authority. It owns and operates the Port Bienville Industrial Park, Port Bienville Short Line Railroad and Stennis International Aiport/Airpark.

The Port & Harbor Commission offers industrial and light industrial sites of up to 400 acres in both an industiral park and business park. The industrial park includes a shallow-draft port, short line rail services to the CSX main line, on-site medical clinic, training center, emergency response services, and 24-hour security. Gulf Opportunity Zone incentives provide either access to State bonds or accelerated depreciation for new and expanding businesses locacting in the County.
