ISTA is an alliance of shippers, carriers, packaging suppliers and testing laboratories. ISTA invented package performance testing in 1948 and is now the global leader, innovator and creator of preshipment package testing standards. Our Transit Tested Program incorporates our test procedures which, along with a variety of edcuational programs, services and activities, enhance the art and science of transport packaging.
