Eitzen Rederi AS has been engaged in panamax OBO carriers since the first generation of OBO carriers were ordered back in 1966 for delivery 1968 and 1969. The second generation was ordered in 1979 with delivery 1982, and the third generation was delivered from Burmeister & Wain Shipyard in Copenhagen from 1992 through 1994. "SIBONINA", "SIBOTI" and "SIBOELF" owned by Eitzen Rederi AS are all third generation vessels.

Commercial management: Poseidon Schiffahrt GmbH act as commercial operator of a fleet of 9 modern Panamax OBO carriers including Eitzen Rederi AS's above mentioned three OBO carriers. Poseidon Schiffahrt GmbH is situated in Hamburg, Germany. Technical management: TESMA Holding AS is the technical manager of all our OBO carriers owned/controlled by EITZEN GROUP. The company is an alliance network of professional ship management companies.
