Primar Stavanger, operated by the Norwegian Hydrographic Service (NHS), is an international cooperation for provision of a consistent, timely and reliable official Electronic Navigational Chart (ENC) service for sea transport and operation.
Primar Stavanger is an international cooperation for provision of a consistent, timely and reliable official Electronic Navigational Chart (ENC) service for sea transport and operation. Our core aim is to provide the maritime community, through authorised distributors, with an ENC service recognised for its quality, user-friendliness and overall contribution to marine safety and efficiency on a global level. The service has been in full operation since April 2002, and include today official ENCs from these nations: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Russia, Singapore and Sweden - Belgium, Germany, India, the Netherlands, Portugal, South Africa, Spain and United Kingdom. Primar Stavanger is operated by the Norwegian Hydrographic Service (NHS), ECC A/S is the operator and developer of the systems and services which enable Primar Stavanger to offer its global services.
