The Marine Travel Company (formerly known as Chartham Marine) is based in Canterbury, Hull and Barrow-in-Furness. Formed over three years ago, we are now recognised as one of the UK's leading independant marine travel agents providing dedicated travel services to the Shipping and Marine industry.

We are fully bonded and accredited with IATA & CAA to sell travel services. We are also partners in the Advantage Focus Partnership a group of over over 90 leading independent agents with a combined buying power of over £450 million in the UK, which enables us to obtain some of the best air fares available in the European travel market. Our sister company Bicester Travel Bureau additionally holds accreditations with ATOC & ABTA allowing them to sell tairlormade and package holiday's to our customers. We handle the travel requirements for a cross section of Marine and Oil related businesses throughout the UK and Europe, these include; Ship Owners, Ship Managers, Crewing Agents, Marine Engineers, Ship Surveyors, Salvage Operators, Cruise and Ferry Operators, Port Authorities, Tug and Pilot Operators, Exploration Teams, Super Yacht owners, Marine Electricians, Marine Technicians, Support and Supply Operators and Offshore Workers. Our scope is vast, but our aim is the same - - to provide a cost effective service whilst maintaining a high standard of customer care. Our extensive experience in the Marine industry and the knowledge within our team ensures that we are able to provide a high quality service and effective account management programmes. We are currently undertaking an Investors in People (IIP) programme, as we believe that our staff should have total involvement in the direction of the company and how we operate and service our customers.
