Erie Shipbuilding offers a full range of ship repair / ship building services. This Erie Facility covers 44 acres, has 200,000 square feet in 3 buildings, and 6 berthing docks. The shipyard´s main feature is the 1250 ft. x 130 ft. dry dock. The end 150 ft. of the dry dock is covered and has a 100 ton and a 20 ton overhead crane with 80 ft. of working height. Erie Shipbuilding has all fabricating abilities necessary for ship repair and construction. In addition, the facility has the capability of fabricating large units, turbine, generators, pressure vessels for overseas or Great Lakes shipping. Erie Shipbuilding offers the first dry dock upbound from the Welland Canal.
