Ketch Recruiting provides executive search for the shipping and transportation, logistics, energy and commodities sectors. Ketch allows clients the freedom of contingency and retained as well as board-level search. This complements over seven years of recruiting in the maritime sector and capitalizes in a maritime career begun in 1989 and including command experience of dozens of vessels and three years in Asia operating a fleet of tankers and bulkers. Ketch is a type of sailboat on which Ketch's founder Eric served crossing the Atlantic as Mate at age 20 (CHEBEC, 65', Antigua-Belgium) and the Pacific as Captain at age 23 (STORNOWAY, 70', Panama-New Zealand). From 1999 to 2005 he founded, ran and sold Echo Yacht Delivery. After passing the bar and completing his Master's thesis (on Places of Refuge), he recruited with Russ Reynolds at Directorship Search Group and RSR Partners for two years to end 2007.
