Full Service Public Seaport - Breakbulk, Containers, Dry-Bulk, Blast Freeze/Cold Storage, Heavy Lift and Oversized Cargo. Fixed day weekly container service to North and South Asia, Caribbean, Mediterranean, and South and Central America. Rail ferry service every 4 days to Coatzacoalcos, Mexico.
ASPA terminals have immediate access to two (2) interstate systems (I-10; I-65), Five Class I Railroads (BNSF, CSX, CN, KCS, NS), two (2) Class 3 Railroads (ASPA Terminal Railway, Central Gulf Railway), an extensive inland waterway connections to the Gulf Intracoastal, Upper Mississippi, Tennessee and Ohio River systems and the Great Lakes. The ASPA truck control is uncongested and provide un-restricted overhead clearance to Interstates. The Authority's railroad provides full slate of rail services to all five Class I and the Class 3 railroads, which converge on the main port complex.
