Incanal oversees the administration, financing, maintenance, study, construction, improvement and inspection of all of Venezuela's sea, lake and river navigation channels. Founded in 1952, Incanal is part of the country's oil and mining ministry and has three operative management areas: Maracaibo channel, Orinoco channel and commercial department.
