About

Eurasia's one-stop-shop maritime services are categorised into shipmanagement, marine consultancy and shipping services. Shipmanagement is the group's core activity, which covers technical, crew and commercial management. Marine consultancy includes services in newbuilding, technical consultancy, quality assurance, training and development. Shipping services core services in port agency and representation, maritime catering, procurement and logistics and commercial risk consultancy.

Eurasia is wholly owned by Bernhard Schulte, a Hamburg based family partnership with a shipowning tradition dating back to 1883, and is currently among the five largest independent shipmanagement groups in the world. Eurasia was estabished in Hong Kong in 1981 to make the Schulte Group's presence felt in the Far East. From modest beginnings the company has grown to become a leading shipmanager, with shipmanagement operations in Hong Kong, Singapore and Mumbai, managing a diverse fleet of over 91 vessels. This includes VLCC's, crude tankers, chemical tankers, asphalt tankers, product carriers, bulk carriers, general cargo vessels, container ships (upto Post Panamax size) and passenger vessels. More than 150 shore staff and about 1800 seafarers are employed. Eurasia Group has continued to build a global network of offices and representatives in strategic locations. Eurasia International (China) Ltd Partnership, Eurasia Maritime Management (India) Pvt. Ltd, and Eurasia Marine Services are the three regional units of the Eurasia Group located respectively in Hong Kong, Mumbai and Singapore. Likewise, the Group has a regional representative office Eurasia International in Bergen. The Group also has representatives in Bangladesh, Delhi, Malta, the Middle East and the USA. With customer service as our goal, our global network assures customers of lobal presence while offering them global solutions. The Group also manages a training and recruitment centre in Mumbai, Paramount Shipping & Management Pvt. Ltd that also has office in Delhi providing professional training and recruitment services exclusively to the Schulte Group companies. Eurasia has a strong team of qualified and experienced professionals. Its shore-based senior staff in the shipmanagement division, from regional heads to superintendents, are licensed ex-seafarers (masters and chief engineers) with extensive experience on a variety of vessels types. Personnel of other divisions are professionals in naval architecture, marine engineering, navigation, quality management and catering. There are more than 91 vessels under Eurasia's management and the Group has fully managed 17 newbuilding projects in China, Korea and Japan so far for varied types of vessels such as double-hull tankers, multi-purpose container vessels and capesize vessels. Eurasia is also among the very few professional maritime catering service providers, providing services to non-passenger vessels. Its port agency section handles over 600 veseel calls a year in providing husbandry services to tramships. Being one of the founder members of International Ship Managers' Association (ISMA), and also an active member of Global Centre for Performance Excellence of the Conference Board, Eurasia is committed to highest quality standards in shipmanagement operation, both on board vessels and ashore. The operation has received DNV ISO9002, DNV SEP, ISMA and LR ISM accreditation. Eurasia will continue to apply advanced quality-management tecniques and information technology to continuously improve its organisational performance in order to actualise our commitment to customers, shareholders and employees.
