Seascan and Echoplus ground discrimination systems use existing vessels echo sounder to provide analysis of seabed type. This is especially useful in fishing applications but can also be used in hydrographic survey, mineral extraction,dreging and research applications.

Using proven second echo principals and the latest in electronic technology the Seascan and Echoplus range of ground discrimination products provide accurate and straightforward seabed details. Seascan, for the commerical fishing market, uses existing vessels echo sounder and interfaces to many commonly available pc based plotter systems allowing the vessel to build up accurate seabed type records. Echoplus expands these abilities by allowing the user to use simultanous dual frequencies to give even greater definition along with the abilty to monitor complete echogram for scientific study.
