Since 1987 , GS4 company based in Paris has specialised in the field of telecommunication and radio communication mixing data processing applications. The approach of the 21st Century, faced with the different state of the art technology , satellite transmission systems and the increase of the computer science on the market , has led to GS4 providing to its clients several turnkey data solutions adapted to their needs and specially designed by high level engineers staff. Answering a France Telecom demand from 1997, a GS4 department specialises in payphone systems on which calls can be made via prepaid cards, refiliable or not. The payphone can be remotely accessed with a full data management & control to download new tariffs and provide usage statistics... Our New version of payphone (mid-April 2001) will be implemented also with PIN systems , whereby an individual have his own account activated via a PIN or Personal Identification Number ( no more management problem’s for stocking cards). These payphones called “ PUBLISAT” are adapted for the Inmarsat network and any other kind of transmission. They can be connected with all kind of terminals ( ex: NERA, Thrane & Thrane, KVH,STN Atlas…… equipments for any standards) The marine system is equipped with a marine satellite transmitter receiver (Mini M) with a marine antenna, and adapted to marine conditions, dispensing with the problems of call accounting and allocating bills. It provides several applications for crew, passengers, offshore platform workers etc… Strong backing, investment and a positive growth strategy has enabled GS4 to strengthen its position in the enhanced payphone market and establish itself as a leading maritime and terrestrial payphone provider as we adapt our software according to client’s particular application and requirement. GS4 offers a total solution. This may include supply of equipment, training for installation and basic maintenance, traffic accounting and service provision. This commitment can only be achieved in close partnership with our customers and our personnel.
