LauritzenCool sprang out of the amalgamation of the leading reefer operators Lauritzen Reefers and Cool Carriers, well known for their widespread global activities and strong customer orientation. All types of perishable cargoes requiring sensitive environment control and refrigeration are ideal for their modern, self-sustained reefers. In addition, many other suitable clean and dry cargoes are carried. Worldwide Operations LauritzenCool, together with Reefership are the world's largest operators of specialised refrigerated vessels. The LauritzenCool's base fleet, of more than 90 modern pallet reefer vessels between 266,000 and 760,000 cbft capacity, is operated in almost all major reefer trades worldwide. The Leonina System In the heart of LauritzenCool is the Leonina system, a partnership concept whereby independent shipowners supply high quality tonnage for all types of reefer cargoes. LauritzenCool, in turn, operates the vessels, securing the best possible return for every vessel. Market Leaders The staff has an extensive experience of seaborne transport of perishable goods such as fruit, vegetables, seafood and meat as well as various dry cargoes. Detailed knowledge of the customers' needs and products allows the design of logistic systems that are a perfect match for their production methods. In many cases, LauritzenCool has been able to lead the way to increased market shares for the customers when new export opportunities and new markets have been developed through the use of high quality reefer transportation.
