BMH Marine is a world leader in continuous unloading/loading of ships with deliveries of Nordströms selfunloading/loading systems for more than 120 dry bulk carriers and of more than 250 Siwertell continuous ship unloaders and loaders. Nordströms selfunloading/loading systems for dry bulk carriers have been designed and supplied by BMH Marine since 1947. They are available as gravity type, cement handling and top reclaiming systems and can be installed into newbuildings or conversions. The gravity type, delivered for vessels of various sizes up to 96,000 dwt (M/V Yeoman Bontrup and M/V Yeoman Bridge) with unloading capacities of 6000 t/h, is suitable for coal, iron ore, aggregates and other similar materials. Cement carriers are equipped with mechanical and pneumatic conveying systems with capacities of up to 1300 t/h for loading and 1500 t/h for unloading (M/V Chihaya Maru, 10,000 dwt). Top reclaiming systems include deck conveyor systems and the Nordströms Bulk Reclaimer, suitable for a wide range of dry bulk materials. Among the references of these systems are M/V Gem of Ennore, a 73,800 dwt coal carrier equipped with a 4000 t/h deck conveyor system and M/V Balder, 47,800 dwt, equipped with a Nordströms Bulk Reclaimer for coal and aggregates, capacity 1875 m³/h. Siwertell ship unloaders, designed at our headquarters in Bjuv, have been supplied since 1974 to customers around the world for efficient unloading of 1,500 - 180,000 dwt vessels at capacities of 200 - 2,400 t/h. Siwertell ship loaders are suitable for ships up to 80,000 dwt. The Siwertell units feature continuous, enclosed conveying for environment-friendly operation. Among the dry bulk materials handled are cement, coal, grain, agribulk and fertilizers.
