Cargobiz.com is a neutral online trading platform for the shipping Industry, encompassing all aspect of conventional shipbroking and chartering practice, from mainterms negotiating through cp details and post fixture/operations.

Cargobiz.com is a neutral online trading platform for the shipping industry. It allows participants with cargoes to place their orders on either the open market (public) or to a selected number of participants (private). The orders are then viewed on the online 'market place' where eligible participants can register indications/ place their bids for the business. From our soft launch second half of April this year, cargobiz now has a global membership in excess of 1,000 shipping industry participants comprising Ship Owners, Charterers, Operators and Shipbrokers. Membership is growing on a daily basis - our internet chartering marketplace, where traditional chartering meets internet chartering, continues to expand. We cover a diversified range of dry cargo and container markets including coasters, handy, handymax, panamax and cape size. Our tanker market platform will follow shortly. The cargobiz system encompasses all aspect of conventional shipbroking and chartering practise, from agreeing mainterms negotiating and concluding charter party details, followed by all post fixture and operations matters. The cargobiz.com platform is supported by a team of experienced shipbrokers located in our Hamburg, UK and Hong Kong offices. We believe that the combination of an excellent internet tool and specialist shipping staff will provide our clients with the best possible combination - new technology backed up by traditional broking skills.
