COASTAL MARINE EQUIPMENT’s manufacturing facility is equipped for fabrication, machining and assembly. It is located at 20995 Coastal Parkway, Gulfport, MS 39503-9517 USA. This location is in the heart of the Gulf of Mexico shipbuilding industry and allows us to service the shipyards and vessel fleets of the entire Gulf Coast. We also service those shipyards and operators on the East and West coasts. Products offered include anchor winches, anchor windlasses, mooring winches, capstans, tuggers, hose reels, escort winches, ramp winches, storage drums, and any other powered deck machinery. These products include standard lines as well as custom equipment. COASTAL MARINE EQUIPMENT stands ready and able to work with the shipyards, architects and operators with engineering and design capabilities needed to solve today’s unique problems. Other services include general fabrication, general machining, equipment and system installation, as well as maintenance, parts and repair services. COASTAL PRECISION MACHINING has been providing complete machine shop capabilities for the past ten years. These services include production turning and milling with CNC machining centers, horizontal boring mill, vertical turret lathe, large and small lathes, Blanchard surface grinder, reciprocating grinders, O.D. grinders and a complete array of inspection equipment. Anchor Winches: Drum sized to handle from ½” diameter wire rope to 1-7/8” diameter wire rope in electric and hydraulic drives. Mooring Winches: 1-1/2 ” wire rope, hydraulic driven, some with stainless steel brake drums and stainless steel catheads. Capstans: Head size from 6” diameter to 36” diameter, electric and hydraulic drives with up to 200,000 lbs bollard rating. Hose Reels: Hydraulic driven, to handle 3” non-collapsible water hose, used on liftboats. Tuggers: From 2 ton to 20 ton, hydraulic driven. Escort Winch: Drum holds 500’ of 8” circumference and brake holds 300,000 lbs. Tow Winch: For 2-1/4" wire rope and line pull with brake holding to 400,000 lbs., Single or double drum. Emergency Toe Line Reel:Drum holds 600ft of 2" wire rope, manual operation with stainless hand rim and shoe brake Tow Pins: With 16" rollers for 2" wire. Shore Power Cable Reel: For 150ft of 3" electric cable. Push Wire Winch:For 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" wire with 212,000 to 400,000lbs brake holding. Vessel Types: Equipment has been supplied for vessels ranging from 150’ aluminum crew/supply boats to a 360’ dinner excursion vessel to 450’ double hull barges. In between are the 145’ OSVs up to the 240’ OSVs, liftboats, ocean going tugs and a harbor tractor tug.
