Flow International Corporation has developed every major advance in the field of waterjet technology and is the world’s leading manufacturer of ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) waterjet equipment. Why is FLOW the industry leader? SUPERIOR TECHNOLOGY: UHP waterjets are accepted industry-wide as a highly-productive, cost-effective and environmentally-safe method of surface preparation. SUPERIOR PRODUCTS: FLOW invests heavily in research and development resulting in tough, consistent pumps and long-lasting tools. FLOW is constantly improving upon existing products and developing new ones. SUPERIOR EXPERIENCE: FLOW has more pumps in the field than all other UHP manufacturers combined, with total pumping hours in excess of 1,000,000 hours. SUPERIOR SERVICE AND SUPPORT: FLOW’s global locations provide equipment, parts, training, service, and support to customers around the world. SUPERIOR SOLUTIONS: FLOW offers total systems solutions from a single source and tailored to your specific application.
Flow International Corporation, the UHP waterjet industry leader, spends between 6% and 12% of annual revenue on research and engineering to bring you technically superior products. The S-200 Diesel HUSKY® is the most reliable, most productive, ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) pump available. It is the world’s only 40,000 psi [2720 bar] direct drive plunger pump, and because it has full pressure compensation, the HUSKY can drive multiple tools with equal pressure and uninterrupted flow. Operators love the field-friendly HUSKY, engineered with safety, ease of maintenance and transportability in mind. Use the versatile, efficient HydroCat™ system to remove coatings from vertical, horizontal and overhead surfaces. With the remote-controlled HydroCat a single operator can remove coatings at a rate of up to 1000 sq. ft per hour, traversing smoothly over weld seams, doubler plates, lap joints and riveted seams, and moving in and around keel blocks and other common obstructions. For straight line work, the HydroCat automatically stays on course with its exclusive “autopath control”. Nothing cleans as clean as the HydroCat. It collects 100% of the UHP water, removed coatings and rust. The coatings and water are then transported to a filtration bag, where the removed coatings are contained for easy haul-away. And the water drains out at a clarity level generally acceptable for treated sewers. The adjacent work area and the environment remain clean and safe. The A-3000 ultralight handtool combines the power of UHP water with extremely high nozzle rotation speeds, making it the ideal tool to remove the toughest of coatings, including epoxies, resins paint, rust, scale, calcium deposits and oxides. With its unmatched productivity and low water usage, the A-3000 is an environmentally-sensible alternative to grit blasting, burning and chemical removal. And the A-3000’s light weight reduces operator fatigue so operators can work longer, and more safely. The DeckHog delivers maximum cleaning power with minimum manpower. Operating at full HUSKY power (40,000 psi) the DeckHog quickly removes coatings and corrosion products from horizontal surfaces such as ship decks, tank bottoms, and factory floors. The compact DeckHog is simple to operate and its pushcart design eliminates back thrust, greatly reducing operator fatigue. The DeckHog attaches easily to a HUSKY pump, and many of its components are interchangeable with FLOW’s other UHP cleaning tools so maintenance is simplified and spare parts requirements remain low. The DeckHog is the perfect tool to round out your fleet of FLOW surface prep equipment.
