About

R.E.D.S. is Marine Technical Office. We supply design, surveying and general marine services to Shipyards and private Owners covering almost all the aspects of the marine design work. Since 1985 all our 2D drawings come from the definition of a complete three dimensional model processed with Marine CAD Softwares. Our references are mainly in the SuperYachts domain but we also design small passenger and specialized vessels.

Our services are: -Assistance to the contract (on the Shipyard side or on the Owner side). -Technical specification definition (in French, English, Italian, German). -Surveys on new constructions and refitting works. -Preliminary projects. -Study of the propulsion and general arrangements. -Hull lines plan 3D definition (faired and ready for production) -Superstructure lines plan 3D definition (faired and ready for production) -Deep hydrostatic and hydrodynamic calculations. -Tank tests management and assistance (Bassin des carenes in Paris, INSEAN Rome, MARIN Wageningen Holland...) -Final structural drawings (steel, aluminum, FRP and composites). -P&I concept drawings and engine room arrangement. -Structural calculations made with finite element analyzer software or following the Rules of a Classification Register (ABS, Lloyds Register, Det Norske Veritas, Bureau Veritas,...) -Management of the drawings approval procedure by Classification Registers delivering to the Shipyard the final construction drawings completed with notes and modifications requested by the Register. -Interior Design projects including final drawings of furniture. -3 dimensional color prospective of the whole model of the ship. -Full scale hull and superstructure sections plotted on polyester film sheets. -CAM files for the NC cutting machines
