Founded in 1991, LOG-NET, Inc. of Little Silver, NJ was established to provide the finest trade, transportation and logistics information systems. The company has grown from a supplier of service provider based logistics systems to international supply chain systems used in dozens of countries around the world by importers exporters and operators. Clients such as Danzas AEI in the US and P&O Nedlloyd VAS Trade in Europe utilize LOG-NET® software to meet the demanding needs of their many clients. This heritage focused the company to build a scalable solution that can be rapidly deployed to meet the custom requirements of large sophisticated clients around the globe. LOG-NET, Inc. pioneered client server technology in a DOS environment in 1993. The company has always been a leader in the industry. LOG-NET was also the first logistics system to extensively utilize SQL databases. LOG-NET, Inc. continued its string of firsts by being the first to a windows platform and again first to the Internet in 1997. Throughout the 90's LOG-NET, Inc. deployed and enhanced some of the most sophisticated EDI interfaces to be introduced in the marketplace. The company's leading edge EDI interfaces provide the foundation for LOG-NET® software to be the bedrock of a clients supply chain network. In 1998 LOG-NET, Inc. began selling its applications directly to importers and exporters. The heritage of service to service providers provided an ideal background for rapid, cost effective solutions of integrated international logistics solutions. With mature processes for rapid deployment to many clients with varying requirements the company was well positioned for the new millennium.
