Beaumont Terminal The Beaumont Terminal is a world-class marine, pipeline, rail tank car and tank truck full service independent storage terminal providing 7.5 million barrels of atmospheric tank storage capacity. Tanks range from 15,000 to 360,000 barrel capacity. Marine facilities on the Neches River near the Gulf Intercoastal Waterway include two docks with barge and/or ship berths and two high capacity crude loading/offloading berths. Eight crude oil pipeline connections include ExxonMobil's line to Corsicana, West Texas Gulf's line to Wortham, Equilon's Houma-Houston line, ExxonMobil's crude oil pipeline to their Beaumont Refinery, Lion Oil's PA line, Unocal's Van Line, EOTT's Neale line, and the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve's Big Hill/Hackberry line. Products pipeline connections include Explorer, Huntsman, ExxonMobil's products pipelines to their Beaumont Refinery, Teppco, and Colonial with 800,000 barrels of dedicated storage separate from the terminal accessing Colonial and Teppco Pipelines. The terminal handles a wide variety of products including crude oil, gasoline, distillate, naphtha, gasoline blend stocks, solvents, racing gasoline and aviation gasoline. Tankage is connected to the docks and truck and rail racks through dedicated lines to maintain the highest levels of product integrity. Beaumont Terminal is a contractor for the Department of Energy's Strategic Petroleum Reserve providing fill and withdrawal logistical support to their Big Hill storage facility. This wholly-owned Unocal operated facility serves the ever growing and changing import, export and terminaling needs of the heart of the nation's dynamic petroleum and petrochemical industry -- the Gulf Coast. Forked Island Terminal Unocal's Forked Island Terminal, at the terminus of the Forked Island Gathering System, is a major barge loading facility in Southwest Louisiana. The terminal, located on the Intracoastal Waterway, is a storage and accumulation location for gathering operations in the tidal marshlands.
