About

ST Services (ST) is one of the largest independent petroleum products and specialty liquids terminaling companies in the world. ST operates 48 terminals in 20 states‚ the District of Columbia‚ and the United Kingdom with a total storage capacity in excess of 35.6 million barrels (4‚500‚000 M3). ST’s 44 years of experience in the terminaling business handling a wide range of liquid materials including petroleum products‚ specialty chemicals‚ commodities‚ food grade products‚ and more recently dry bulk materials‚ qualifies ST as an industry leader.

The Company’s predecessor was founded in 1957 to store and deliver jet fuel and aviation gasoline to military bases in the United States. In 1971‚ the Company was acquired by Cleary Petroleum‚ which was in turn acquired by W.R. Grace & Co. in 1973. As a result of W.R. Grace & Co’s. divestiture of all its energy related businesses in 1993‚ ST was acquired in March of that year by Kaneb Pipe Line Partners‚ L.P.‚ a Master Limited Partnership listed on the New York Stock Exchange (KPP). ST has a reputation for providing high quality service to its customers. In the United States ST owns and operates deep water terminals on the East Coast at Linden‚ NY; Paulsboro‚ NJ; Philadelphia‚ PA; Baltimore‚ MD; Piney Point‚ MD; Savannah‚ GA; Brunswick‚ GA and Jacksonville‚ FL; on the Gulf Coast at Texas City‚ TX and Westwego‚ LA; and on the West Coast at Los Angeles‚ CA; Richmond‚ CA; Selby‚ CA; Martinez‚ CA; Stockton‚ CA; Portland‚ OR; Vancouver‚ WA; and Tacoma‚ WA. In addition ST operates other facilities supplied by pipelines rail tank cars and barges. Terminals in the United Kingdom are located at Eastham‚ England; Runcorn‚ England; Grays‚ England; Leith‚ Scotland; Clydebank‚ Scotland and Belfast‚ Northern Ireland. The United Kingdom facilities are also capable of receiving from tankers. ST’s success is attributable to strategically located facilities‚ dedicated and experienced employees and its successful track record for handling the needs for its large base of long-standing‚ ”repeat” customers speaks for itself. The Company serves it customers with both short and long-term storage contracts designed to accommodate specific and unique customer requirements which generally range from monthly to ten-year terms. ST is a founding member of the Independent Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA), a worldwide trade association which promotes the independent liquid terminaling industry. The ILTA membership is made up of 81 terminal member companies located in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and 23 other nations.
