Callahan Company was founded in 1958 by James B. Callahan, Sr. The Company has grown in sales over 43 years to its present size of approximately 73 million dollars in annual sales. A family owned and operated concern, the company services virtually every chemical-consuming industry, including pharmaceuticals, nutritional products, flavor and fragrance, personal care, paint and coatings, urethanes, foods, specialty resins, epoxies, and household, institutional and industrial formulators. Callahan is proud of its efficient and knowledgable work force, which includes superior warehousing, transportation and customer service personnel in four different plant locations. In addition, our professional sales force is without peer in the industry. The firm represents more than 20 different manufacturers and suppliers, including industry leaders such as Dow Chemical, Lyondell Petrochemical, Eastman Chemical, The Stepan Company, Rhodia, Inc. and many more.
