ELECTRUCK PTY LIMITED was established in Sydney in 1974 and has developed from a modest engineering company, providing maintenance and repair services to the Container Terminals to a most modern designer and manufacturer of a whole range of materials handling equipment for international ports and terminals. Our long association in all facets of the industry has allowed us to meet the challenge of producing increasingly light, sophisticated and robust machines whilst at the same time reducing running and maintenance costs. The success of our Engineering and Manufacturing philosophy has resulted in an increasing demand that has necessitated an expansion to our Manufacturing capability. To this end ELECTRUCK has established extensive facilities at two (2) locations in the Philippines, ELECTRUCK PACIFIC INC. at Subic Bay and ELECTRUCK ASIA INC. at Mariveles whilst at the same time developing and increasing its base manufacturing plants capacity in Australia. Both Philippine plants are equipped with their own "deep water" berthing facilities, that allow equipment to be directly loaded onto suitable heavy lift vessels. This feature allows all equipment to be fully erected and commissioned at the respective plants prior to shipment. In 1985 ELECTRUCK became a wholly owned subsidiary of the publicly listed ECTEC GROUP and this has enabled the Company to continue expansion of its manufacturing capabilities and development of new products. Associated companies in the Group include KENNEDY TAYLOR PTY LTD, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia, who manufacture electrical switchboards, motor control centres and who also have a large Contracting Division covering all electrical works for major projects such as Airports, International Hotels and large industrial developments. We purchase secondhand equipment on behalf of our clients from anywhere in the world, relocate it and re-commission it at its new destination. With our wide experience we are able to provide a complete engineering service from consultation, design, manufacture, installation and after sales service. Our staff are always available to discuss customer requirements and provide assistance in solving problems of equipment and unique applications.
