Advanced Production and Loading AS (APL) specializes in the development, fabrication and installation of own systems, mainly applied for offshore loading / discharge of tankers and floating production systems. Established in 1993, our company is engaging a group of highly qualified employees. APL is headquartered in Arendal, Norway and has sales and representation offices in Stavanger, Houston (APL Inc.), Paris / Rouen and in Rio de Janeiro (APL do Brazil).

APL’s main product range is targeted at offshore oilfield developments and oil and gas ship-based logistic solutions. APL has also expanded into the complementary expertise of: Dynamic risers engineering: It is a logical extension to APL’s core business to be able to propose a complete system including the dynamic risers that interact with the mooring system. APL has in-house competence and software tools for performing these tasks. Offshore Installation: APL has reinforced its offshore installation capability in order to provide its customer with a turnkey EPCI delivery. APL took on the responsibility for the complete delivery and installation of a SAL system for the Conoco operated Banff field as our first EPCI contract during summer 98 and is also presently executing two EPCI contracts for STP systems to the CNOOC operated Wenchang and PanYu FPSOs. For EPC contracts, APL will normally be involved in the development of offshore installation procedures and also be present during the installations.
