FTV Proclad is firmly established as one of the prime subcontract machining companies in Scotland, with extensive capabilities combining large size and fine precision. We can handle components of up to 3.5 m diameter and up to 25 tonnes in weight. We excel in the areas of horizontal boring where we have pioneered the use of controlled boring facing heads, and large CNC turning. Our main customers tend to come from power generation, aerospace, marine and oil and gas industries

Our machining capacity is as follows: CNC horizontal boring: 4.0m x 3.0m x 2.0m table size (20 ton capacity) CNC vertical boring & turning: 157” swing to 138” under the column CNC turning: 26” swing x 105” between centres CNC milling: X axis 1.0m, Y axis 550mm, Z axis 800mm CNC co-ordinate measuring machine: X axis 2.40m, Y axis 800mm, Z axis 1.0mWe have a floor area of 70,000 sq ft and have the capability of handling components of up to 3.5 m diameter and up to 25 tonnes in weight. Quality approved to BS EN 9002
