Maritime gmc was established in 1973 as a service and sales company to the offshore and marine industry. Annual turnover are around 16 million US$ and 95 employees within all trades operates a modern base with a 200 meter deep water quay. Maritime gmc are located in Stavanger, Norway. The product range includes : -Marine and offshore Cranes and Davits -Air, electric or hydraulic Winches -Overhead cranes up to 75 Tonnes. -Lifting and Weighing equipment. The main areas of use for gmc cranes are ROV operation, Offshore vessels, Workshop, Provision, Service, Basket operation, Rescue, Hose handling, Fish loading and Cargo handling. Maritime gmc provide cost effective solutions by supplying crane technology of highest marine quality. More than 700 gmc cranes have been delivered to ship- and rig owners world wide. The cranes can be delivered with integrated power pack or connected to existing hydraulic system. A wide selection of hydraulic attachments, winches and remote controls can be offered. The cranes are manufactured in accordance with Norwegian Standard 5514, F.E.M. crane standard and DIN 15018. On request, certificates from D.n.V., GL, LRS, ABS, NK or other certifying institutions. Other products and services includes : Marine and Mechanical Service, Diesel engines and transmissions, Preservation, Lay-up and Decommissioning as well as a full range of Fire Fighting products and services. A skilled staff of workers including mechanics, welders, electricians and engineers are ready to assist 24 hours a day. The company are approved for any type of maintenance, certification or installation on cranes, winches, fire-equipment and lifting tackle.
