150 passenger authentic sternwheel paddleboat on Kalamazoo River and Lake Michigan.
Authentic sternwheel paddleboat offering scenic, narrated cruise daily May through September and Friday thru Monday in October. The 1 1/2 hour cruise (approximate) is on the Kalamazoo River, entering Lake Kalamazoo at the harbor of Saugatuck, and then out to majestic Lake Michigan, entering the lake with permitting conditions. The lower deck is enclosed and climate controlled. Upper deck is open with a partial canopy. A live narration is provided which points out local landmarks and points of interest, as well as, local lore and history along the way. There are restrooms located on the lower deck and snack areas on each deck selling chips, candy, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. Boat has daily public cruise schedule and also available for groups and private charter.
