In reality, the Firm was established at the behest of Shipowners / Traders (Charterers) who were friendly with the people behind this incorporation, especially with the M.D., Mr. O.V. Babu who started his Shipping Career in Dubai in early 80's and was associated with big trading houses for movement of their dry bulk ( sulphur, urea, MOP and the like ) of various origins primarily to Indian sub continent and to various other destinations. This afforded him and his colleagues who joined hands with him excellent contacts with Shipowners / Charterers worldwide who were only too keen to be involved with these experience people who were familiar to them and hence, to cater to their interest and requirements on personalized basis, the Firm 'Ocean Bulk Shipping' was incorporated as a limited liability Company.
