Consulting comes in many different flavours. Sometimes you simply want to pick someone's brain for a while, other times you need strategic planning or a new direction. We are here to help you in what ever capacity you wish. Copywriting for advertising and promotion sells the sizzle, not the steak. Our copywriters are exceptional at putting the sizzle in your steak. A clean, professional design on your website, corporate literature, and promotional pieces shows that your company is detail oriented and takes care in what they do. Together, we can make sure that you look better than your competition. It takes time to find an outstanding printer that also offers you good prices. We work with one of the best printers in Scandinavia and offer you prices that are competitive with any quality printer. Photography can make or break your your masterpiece. Imagine publishing your annual report with photos that look like your dog was behind the camera! Our photographers care about your project and give you the results to prove it. Translation from Norwegian to English is not as easy as it sounds. A direct translation can be quite an embarrassment in the international maritime marketplace. Our American, Canadian, and British translators take pride in providing you with error-free translations Our editorial services include journalism, proofreading and editing. Whether interviewing an executive for a press release, or rescuing a piece of wounded copy, we help you say exactly what you mean. Research is one of the keys to successful marketing. It's great to have a good gut feel about what your target market is reading, where they go for purchasing information, or how they feel about your company; but you have to be careful that your gut feel isn't just indigestion. When it comes to media planning, experience is good - research is better. A real media plan is based on independent research into what your target market reads and consumes. We combine both experience and research to create a media plan for you that is second to none. Warning: Event management can lead to premature grey hair. When you are ready to organize a press conference, corporate event, seminar or any other event, save yourself the extra stress involved in organising and managing it. Call Bridgeport Communications to handle all the arrangements and save yourself from the stress.

The Chamber of Shipping has proudly served the international shipping industry community in British Columbia since 1923. The Chamber is a forum for the gathering, developing and disseminating of information both to the membership and shipping communities around the world. Information relating to new developments in shipping services, government legislation as well as alternative services and opportunities in trade, commerce, or education are handled by the Chamber and its dedicated committees. Established as a non profit society in 1923, The Chamber of Shipping of British Columbia provides its services to three categories of members. 'Full Members' are drawn from the ship owners, operators and agents, representing the foreign flag international deep sea segment of the B.C. shipping community. Associate or Service Membership is offered to other entities which see value in a close relationship with the Chamber. The Chamber has 140 members, in total. The objects define a role of facilitation and interaction, in the interests of members, with all levels of government and the wider marine community. The President, Staff and Board of Directors are all actively involved in the work of the Chamber in fulfilling its mandate. This is achieved through their involvement in standing and adhoc committees devoted to key topics, for example,Ship and Port Operations, Navigation and Pilotage, Cruise, Liner, Legislation etc. The facilitation role is further exemplified through the Chamber's role in the registration of vessels under the Canadian oil spill regulations. The Chamber has also spearheaded the formation of an informal coalition, The Western Marine Community (WMC), with the aim of ensuring an equitable regional apportionment of the Coast Guard's cost recovery program.
