The site sits on approximately 25 acres adjoining Simpson Timber's sawmill operations. The manufacturing process includes the peeling and drying of veneer for our lay-up and press process plus an extensive finishing department, which includes a panel sander and film press for the production of our Two Step ® high quality overlay panels. We employ a Continuous Process Monitoring (CPM) in all our manufacturing process. OPP provides the world's largest selection of overlaid panels. We have a family of products to meet all the demanding requirements of the markets we serve. These markets include: Concrete Forming, Sign, Transportation and Industrial. OPP plans to continue the Simpson philosophy of cultivating long term mutually successful relationships with those who buy our products and those who supply our material needs. We are proud to have customer ties dating back many decades. Our success depends on their success, which requires that we have a clear understanding of their needs so that we can meet them by providing exceptional products and service. Another key is product development – coming up with new ideas to meet new needs. We are the only overlay panel manufacturer that has a full time staff devoted to product development.

Orcinius Orca also known as the killer whale is our logo, Why Orca ? - It is known for its intelligence, referring to the intelligent solution we have for corrosion problems. - It is a whale which symbolize green values referring to the environmental friendly solution we represent. - It is agressive, referring to our goal to get a reasonable share in the market. History In the mid 80’s Mr. Tom Berntsen started the marketing of self-adhesive films for mega- sized logos on ship sides. After several years these logos were repaired or replaced and he noticed that the areas covered by the vinyl had hardly any corrosion compared to the rest of the ship. On basis of this discovery he realised that this might be a new way to fight corrosion. Extensive research, development and testing began, resulting in the ultimate solution for corrosion, the 9800 HT Offshore film.
