Since 1987, United States Marine, Inc. has designed and built military, patrol and special operations boats ranging in length from 21 feet to 82 feet, constructed of high performance composites or aluminum. We are a fully integrated manufacturer capable of designing, building, and testing boats in house. USMI is located on Bayou Sauvage in New Orleans, Louisiana. Five buildings provide space for lamination, welding, electrical, outfitting, upholstery, and painting. Climate-controlled warehousing, administrative and engineering offices, meeting rooms and customer offices are located on-site. The yard has extensive launching and dockage capabilities. Bayou Sauvage connects to the Intracoastal Waterway and Lake Pontchartrain providing riverine type environments as well as varying water conditions for trials and training. The Gulf of Mexico is nearby and is used for open water testing. Our full service extends beyond our doors. United States Marine, Inc. delivers not only boats, but also full documentation , integrated logistical support, familiarization training, maintenance training, repair, and retrofit.
