affiliated companies that recognized the need for consensus within the industry and the need for a united front in pursuing matters of mutual interest. In 1973, the Association was formally incorporated as a non-profit corporation. Today, OMSA directly represents the large majority of U.S. offshore marine transportation companies, as their principal spokesman delegated to pro-actively develop and/or to promote positions favorable to the industry in response to proposed legislation or other governmental actions, worldwide, which potentially could impact offshore operators and service companies. The Regular Member companies served by OMSA are engaged in various offshore marine activities including offshore towing and anchor handling, and the operation of offshore supply and utility service vessels, crewboats, offshore construction, diving support, pipelay, cargo and derrick barges, geophysical vessels, liftboats and other specialized offshore support vessels. Associate membership is open to companies which, while they do not own or operate marine equipment, do share common economic interests and provide professional services or sell equipment or supplies to OMSA's marine operators. This group includes shipyards, naval architects, surveyors, underwriters, vessel equipment manufacturers and distributors, suppliers of vessel components, supplies and services, financial institutions and CPA firms, among others. These companies play an extremely important and active role in support of the Association. Both classes of membership possess equal rights under the By-laws. Reed began on the 7th May 1960 when Alec Reed, then aged 26, opened the first Reed branch in Hounslow, West London. He started with just £75 and worked alone for a year. Perhaps Reed's greatest achievement is that from these modest beginnings the company has grown organically, and not by acquisition, into a business with over 2000 Co-Members (staff) and 280 branches that generated sales of £373 million last year. Reed has grown by giving clients what they want - the right people - and has won a growing number of clients by continually innovating and improving the service it has to offer. Reed is committed to delivering The Intelligent Response, and this has been a consistent theme since the company began. Thanks to Alec Reed's entrepreneurial flair the company quickly emerged from the pack, not least because it approached the market in new and original ways. Reed was the first recruitment company to offer specialist recruitment services. This began with the creation of Reed Executive, Reed Accountancy and Reed Nursing Personnel in the early 1960s. At least another dozen specialist niches have been developed since. Reed's move into specialisation fundamentally changed the UK recruitment market. In the 1960s Reed expanded rapidly and with its strategy to secure prominent, prime site locations to attract the best candidates for its clients, it developed a distinctive brand on the High Street. This early combination of presence, innovation and specialisation made the brand instantly recognisable to a wide public. Following its first decade of success, the company was floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1971. The Company was once again taken private and delisted from the London Stock Exchange in 2003. To this day the founder's entrepreneurial spirit is fundamental to the company's culture and to its approach to the market. James Reed, Chief Executive and son of Alec, has announced Reed is pursuing a Venture Peoplist business model, which means that it will be investing in, and pursuing new business opportunities that centre on people and people resourcing. Reed prides itself on being an organisation that continues to innovate and specialise and that will rise to meet any challenge, however great.

The Rubb Group manufactures prefabricated, portable structures, buildings, and shelters and custom structures for many applications. There are two common features: a well-engineered steel frame and a PVC coated polyester fabric cover which is tensioned over the frame to provide a tight fitting shell. Variations include provision of alternative materials such as steel cladding or aluminum frame members, but essentially the concept of prefabricated, relocatable construction remains. Rubb structures are available in single spans of 3 meters (10 ft.) to over 79 meters (260 ft.) by any length. Standard module distances vary from 3m (10 ft.) to 5m (16 ft.) Multispan options are also available to provide for even larger structures. Side and gable walls of Rubb buildings are vertical to provide maximum space utilization. A primary advantage of the Rubb design is its ability to be provided in virtually any configuration to suit your needs. Other major benefits of Rubb structures are their speed of delivery and erection, minimal foundation requirements and complete relocatability or extension at any time. This portability provides several advantages over conventional structures and allows quick response to changing circumstances. Because Rubb products are so easy to deploy or relocate, an investment in a Rubb structure should never be thought of in the conventional terms of "fixed assets". Rubb buildings are often resold and put to an entirely different use elsewhere in the world so there is never a danger of making a serious investment mistake when you specify Rubb. Rubb has earned a reputation for tackling difficult and unique projects. We have developed substantial structures which can be moved about on wheels or rails or even lifted around a job site in fully erected form. We offer a strong commitment to compliance

The new standard. The original concept of SalvageSale was simple but revolutionary: create an online marketplace for salvage buyers and sellers to come together in a transparent environment and let them determine fair market value; allow product expertise and technology to bring more buyers to each auction. Today, the genesis of SalvageSale has evolved into the gold standard: our nationwide services network, global marketplace and consistently proven results makes us the trusted partner to insurance professionals, risk managers and asset managers. Global reach redefines competition. Historically, salvage auctions were conducted at the local level. This meant a limited number of buyers participated in each sale, often leaving the seller with only a fraction of the product's fair market value. And most salvage and surplus buyers lacked access to a predictable source of supply. By connecting sellers - insurance companies, transportation companies, retailers, corporate asset managers - with a vast source of domestic and international buyers, SalvageSale has created the preeminent salvage and surplus marketplace. By matching a reliable source of salvage and surplus with buyers from all over the world, the SalvageSale marketplace enables free market competition and delivers greater returns. With each sale, SalvageSale applies its proprietary bidXchangeTM auction format, which ensures fair competition among bidders and full visibility for all sellers. First, we create a detailed product listing that showcases the product's features and history. For specialized products, our highly skilled buyer outreach department brings in new buyers by searching for potential markets and product applications. For commodity products, our market makers tap into our global base of buyers who have expressed an interest in a specific product category. In the auction, integrity is the fundamental element. Both buyers and sellers can watch the auction unfold real-time. And when the auction closes, we ensure both the buyer and seller are equally protected by handling all payments through an escrow account. In addition, detailed reporting on the auction results is made available to the seller. Our seller members include: Property and casualty insurance, marine insurance, inland marine insurance, shipping lines, railroads, trucking companies, retail distributors, manufacturers, and corporate asset managers. Our buyer members include: Both domestic and international product end-users, brokers, re-manufacturers, used equipment buyers, distributors, and purchasing managers.
