The Port Authority of Jamaica (PAJ) is a Statutory Corporation established by the Port Authority Act (1972). It is the Government's principal maritime agency responsible for regulating and fostering development of Jamaica's ports and shipping industry. The Authority owns the Kingston Transshipment Port, the Kingston and Montego Bay Free Zones, the Port of Montego Bay, which includes Commercial Terminal and Cruise Shipping Terminals, the cruise ship terminal in Ocho Rios, the Boundbrook Port in Port Antonio - comprising of a Commercial and a Cruise Shipping Terminal.
