NightWatch Industries was begun by Norman Dahl, commencing with the creation of several Omron PLC based tank monitoring systems for large Pacific Northwest yachts in 1992. A self-described “Silicon Valley dropout gone to sea”, Mr. Dahl’s electronic career began in development labs at Sylvania and IBM and culminated with his eventual departure to sail the Pacific.
