Holyhead Marine Services has one of the best equipped and most up to date yards of its size in the country. The company also undertakes refit and repairs on commercial craft such as lifeboats, patrol boats, tugs, and pilot boats in the yard in steel, aluminium, GRP and timber. Services to the offshore industry include testing, maintenance and repair of flexible floating hoses and associated equipment for the transfer of oil. Hoses of up to 24" bore with an overall assembled length of 350m can be handled. Facilities are available for testing in accordance with OCIMF rules. The companies Quality Management System has been approved by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance to BS EN ISO 9001:1994
