OPP's manufacturing facility is located in Shelton, Washington. It is the single largest overlay panel manufacturing facility, under a single roof, in the world. The site sits on approximately 25 acres adjoining Simpson Timber's sawmill operations. The manufacturing process includes the peeling and drying of veneer for our lay-up and press process plus an extensive finishing department, which includes a panel sander and film press for the production of our Two Step ® high quality overlay panels. We employ a Continuous Process Monitoring (CPM) in all our manufacturing process. OPP provides the world's largest selection of overlaid panels. We have a family of products to meet all the demanding requirements of the markets we serve. These markets include: Concrete Forming, Sign, Transportation and Industrial. OPP plans to continue the Simpson philosophy of cultivating long term mutually successful relationships with those who buy our products and those who supply our material needs. We are proud to have customer ties dating back many decades. Our success depends on their success, which requires that we have a clear understanding of their needs so that we can meet them by providing exceptional products and service. Another key is product development – coming up with new ideas to meet new needs. We are the only overlay panel manufacturer that has a full time staff devoted to product development.
