History
In the mid 80’s Mr. Tom Berntsen started the marketing of self-adhesive films for mega- sized logos on ship sides. After several years these logos were repaired or replaced and he noticed that the areas covered by the vinyl had hardly any corrosion compared to the rest of the ship.
On basis of this discovery he realised that this might be a new way to fight corrosion. Extensive research, development and testing began, resulting in the ultimate solution for corrosion, the 9800 HT Offshore film.
The '' Paleologos Shipping Agency '' was born 50 years ago in Iraklion, Crete and became soon one of the biggest and more responsible shipping agencies in the island of Crete.
