Safety at Sea Ltd (SaS) is a consulting company of naval architects and marine engineers specialising in the stability, design and safe operation of ships and advanced marine vehicles. The company is a commercial enterprise operating within the premises and in partnership with the University of Strathclyde through the Ship Stability Research Centre (SSRC), a world-leading centre of excellence on ship safety. During the early years of operation, SOLAS ‘90 and Stockholm Agreement upgrading has been the mainstream business of Safety at Sea.
