Atlantic Marine - Mobile (repair & conversion) and Alabama Shipyard (vessel new construction) are located on Pinto Island in Mobile, Alabama. The facility has direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. Atlantic Marine - Mobile has two floating dry docks, the largest with 50,000-ton lifting capacity as well as 6,000-ft of pier space. Atlantic has acquired a heavy lift barge with 19,000-ton lifting capacity. Alabama Shipyard specializes in the new construction of vessels in the US Jones Act trade.
