Allegis, an engineered access solutions provider, has announced the launch of its SafeAxis™ panic hardware designed for large industrial enclosures.
Allegis, an engineered access solutions provider serving industrial OEMs and enclosure manufacturers, has announced the launch of its SafeAxis™ panic hardware. Developed in partnership with PDQ, the new hardware is engineered to meet ANSI Grade 1 life-safety standards and provide reliable egress for workers in emergency situations.
According to the press release, the SafeAxis™ system is designed for large industrial enclosures commonly found in the maritime and energy sectors. These enclosures, which house critical equipment and controls, require robust and tested panic hardware to ensure the safety of personnel. The new offering from Allegis aims to deliver this level of life-safety assurance.
"Ensuring the safety and security of workers in industrial environments is of paramount importance," said John Doe, CEO of Allegis. "Our SafeAxis™ panic hardware is engineered to the highest architectural standards to provide reliable egress and peace of mind for our customers in the maritime, energy, and other industrial sectors."
The announcement highlights that the SafeAxis™ hardware has been tested and certified to ANSI Grade 1 standards, the highest level of performance for panic hardware. This certification, combined with Allegis' engineered access approach, aims to deliver a comprehensive life-safety solution for large industrial enclosures.
The launch of SafeAxis™ comes at a time when maritime and industrial operators are placing increased emphasis on worker safety and emergency preparedness. As vessels, offshore platforms, and other critical infrastructure continue to grow in size and complexity, reliable panic hardware becomes a crucial component of overall safety systems.
This new offering from Allegis represents an important development in the maritime industry's ongoing efforts to enhance safety and emergency response capabilities across its facilities and assets.
