20-year-old rookie Fisher Anaya claims his first Bassmaster Elite Series victory at the tournament on Lake Martin in Alabama.

In a dazzling performance on Championship Sunday, 20-year-old rookie Fisher Anaya earned his first career Bassmaster Elite Series victory at the Lippert Bassmaster Elite at Lake Martin. Anaya, hailing from Eva, Alabama, recorded a four-day total weight of 72 pounds, 4 ounces to claim the title. 'This is a dream come true,' said Anaya. 'To win my first Elite Series event at just 20 years old is something I'll never forget.' The young angler saved his best for last, catching a final-day limit of 24 pounds, 4 ounces to surge past previous leaders and secure the championship. His performance on the Alabama lake capped an impressive rookie season that has marked him as a rising star in the sport of professional bass fishing. 'Fisher showed a lot of poise and skill to come from behind and win this event,' said B.A.S.S. CEO Chase Anderson. 'He's proven he has what it takes to compete at the highest level, and we expect to see a lot more from him in the years to come.' The Bassmaster Elite Series is the premier tournament circuit for professional bass anglers, featuring the sport's top talent competing for six-figure payouts. Anaya's victory at Lake Martin earned him $100,000 and automatic qualification for the 2027 Bassmaster Classic, the championship event of competitive bass fishing.
