Boa Offshore to Transport Ithaca's Decommissioned Assets

In a move to support the offshore decommissioning industry, Norway's Boa Offshore has been awarded a contract by AF Offshore Decom to transport Ithaca Energy's decommissioned assets. The contract includes two float-on and load-in operations for Ithaca's FSU Alba and the floating production platform FPF-1. According to the report from Splash247, both units will be dismantled and recycled at AF Environmental Base Vat. The decommissioning of these assets is an important step in Ithaca's efforts to responsibly manage the end-of-life of its North Sea infrastructure.
