Teamsters at Metal Container Corporation, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev, have ratified a new agreement with significant wage improvements.

Members of Teamsters Local 6 at Metal Container Corporation, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev, have ratified a strong new agreement, according to a press release from the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. The agreement covers more than 245 Teamsters who manufacture cans for a wide variety of beverages at the company's facilities. Key details of the new contract include: - Significant wage improvements for the workers - Continued participation in the Teamsters' health, welfare and pension plans - Protections for seniority rights and other important contract language "This is an important victory for our Teamster brothers and sisters at Metal Container Corporation," said Bill Hamilton, Secretary-Treasurer of Local 6. "The new agreement ensures these hardworking men and women will continue to earn good wages and benefits for the critical work they do producing cans for the brewing industry." The ratification of this new labor agreement comes at a time of ongoing challenges in the global supply chain, including shortages of aluminum and other materials needed for can production.
