## Hanwha Ocean Delivers Second VLCC to DHT Holdings Bermuda-based crude oil tanker company DHT Holdings has taken delivery of the second of four very large crude carriers (VLCCs) ordered from Hanwha Ocean, according to *Offshore Energy*. The 319,000 DWT tanker was built at Hanwha's shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea. The delivery is part of a series of four VLCC newbuilds that DHT Holdings contracted with Hanwha Ocean in 2021. The survey is being conducted in the country's offshore basins to support exploration and development activities. Viridien is utilizing its proprietary seismic acquisition technology and expertise to gather high-quality 3D data that will help oil and gas operators better understand the geology of the Uruguayan offshore region. The survey is expected to run through the first quarter of 2023. Uruguay has seen increased interest in its offshore hydrocarbon potential in recent years, with several major international oil companies holding exploration licenses in the country's maritime zones.
